People tend to know better the name of the Moulin Rouge than its address: 82 Boulevard de Clichy, 75018 Paris. This great Parisian boulevard is located South from the Butte Montmartre, at the border of the Pigalle neighborhood, famous for being hot and hectic at night.
Get to the cabaret by car is fairly easy, from the Porte de Saint-Ouen and the Porte de Clignancourt. Enter the address of the Moulin Rouge in your sat nav and let it guide you! Getting there by metro
The metro station Blanche on line 2 is the closest one to the Moulin Rouge address. You may also get off at the station Place de Clichy if you want to walk for a bit. It is on lines 2 and 13, so you will not have to change metro if you come from line 13.
A tourist attraction in Paris
Paris most famous cabaret is very tourist-friendly, and its frontage is worth seeing even if you do not attend a Moulin Rouge show. This way, you have to walk less than 15 minutes to get to the Place du Tertre, a famous place in Montmartre with its cafés and its painters, or to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
If you are a Dalida fan, you can walk three minutes from the cabaret to discover the grave of Dalida in the Montmartre cemetery. Once facing the cabaret, just take the Boulevard de Clichy to the left (towards the West), then turn right on Rachel Avenue and keep on Rue Caulaincourt. Dalida's grave will be on your right.
If you are looking for some calm and peacefulness, you can also go to the Parc Monceau from the 82 Boulevard de Clichy, it is less than half an hour away.
