6-DAY TOUR IN FRANCE : round-trip airport/hotel transfers + 3-day guided tour of Normandy, Mont Saint Michel/Chateaux de La Loire + Versailles palace and gardens guided

This 6-day tour offers a complete experience combining the discovery of Paris, the historical richness of Normandy and the famous Mont Saint Michel, the splendor of the Loire castles, and the magnificence of Versailles. It's a unique opportunity to discover the diversity and beauty of France in comfort and serenity, without worrying about how your week will unfold.

Day 1 (Wednesday): Arrival in Paris and check-in at the hotel

• Transport: Private transfer from Paris airport to hotel.
• Activities: Free time in Paris.
• Accommodation: 4-star hotel The Originals Maison Montmartre.

Day 2: Excursion to Normandy

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll prepare for your transfer to the meeting point for the Normandy excursion, where your coach and guide will be waiting. 
You'll discover the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Place du Marché with your guide in the historic center of Rouen, as well as the charming town of Honfleur, where you'll have lunch at the restaurant of your choice.
You'll then drive to the Omaha landing beaches, and enjoy an unforgettable moment at the Saint Laurent American Cemetery.
Finally, you'll check into the 4-star Novotel hotel in Caen, where you'll spend the night. A 3-course dinner is included. 

• Transport: Transfer from the hotel to the departure point for the 3-day excursion in Normandy. Transport by comfortable, air-conditioned coach.
• Activities :

Day 3: Discovery of Mont Saint Michel

Depart Caen for Brittany.
Discover the ramparts and cathedral of Saint-Malo with your guide, then enjoy a free lunch by the sea. 
You'll then set off for the sumptuous Mont Saint-Michel, perched on a rocky peak and surrounded by a splendid bay, where you'll first visit the Abbey, then enjoy some free time to stroll through the lively streets, contemplate the exceptional scenery of the Mont's bay as you descend the ramparts, or savor some delicious crêpes.
At the end of the day, you'll be dropped off at the Mercure Angers Centre hotel (or similar) for the night. You'll find restaurants close to your hotel for dinner. 

• Transport: Departure from Caen to Brittany, then departure for Mont Saint Michel.
• Activities :
  • Guided tour of Saint Malo
  • Guided tour of Mont Saint Michel Abbey
  • Free time in the village of Mont Saint Michel
• Meals: Breakfast included at hotel in Caen, lunch at leisure, dinner at leisure.
• Accommodation: Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Angers, Mercure Angers Centre Gare or similar.

Day 4: Loire castles

After breakfast at the hotel, the tour resumes for the Loire Valley. You'll visit the Château de Langeais, which has retained its character as a fortified castle. Your guide will show you the interior of the monument, where realistic wax figures recreate everyday scenes from the period, plunging you back into French history.
You'll also set off for the Château de Chenonceau. Its incomparable architecture, rich furnishings and history, and beautiful gardens make it one of France's most popular châteaux. This Renaissance masterpiece, which spans the Cher River like a fairy-tale palace, has played a major role in French history. Also known as the "Château des Dames", it was built and renovated over many years by famous women from French history (including Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis). During your guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to admire the sumptuous rooms that embody the refined lifestyle of the French during the château's heyday. You'll have the opportunity to take a lunch break in the château grounds.
Then it's on to Chambord. As soon as you approach the château, you'll be amazed by the majesty of the edifice before you. Its impressive architecture makes it the largest of the Loire castles. You'll then be fast-tracked inside thanks to priority access. Our guide will lead you through some of the château's rooms, and you'll take the famous "double staircase" up to the large panoramic terrace. You'll enjoy a superb view over the park while listening to our guide's comments on the history of the château, built in the 16th century under the reign of François I with the participation of Leonardo da Vinci. At the end of the day, you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Paris. There are plenty of restaurants close to your hotel for dinner. 

• Transportation: Depart Angers for the Loire castles tour, then return to Paris.

Day 5: Half-day at Versailles

After breakfast at your hotel, prepare for your transfer to the meeting point for your half-day in Versailles. Your coach and guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point. During the 45-minute air-conditioned bus ride, you'll listen to the guide's initial comments on the history of the Château. 
You'll follow your guide to the most beautiful rooms, with no waiting in line: the King's apartments, with their 7 salons, all decorated on the theme of a god (the salon of Apollo, Mars, Mercury, Venus...), the Queen's apartments, symmetrically arranged to those of the King, with the Coronation room, and the Queen's bedroom, occupied by Marie-Antoinette.  You'll also enter the spectacular Galerie des Glaces, a reception and parade area designed by the famous architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Measuring 73m long and designed to dazzle King Louis XIV's visitors, it is illuminated by 17 windows and 350 mirrors, and opens onto the Palace's splendid gardens, the second part of the tour.
Your transfer back to the meeting point in Paris is included, and you'll then return to your hotel in Montmartre on your own.

• Transport: Transfer from the Montmartre hotel to the departure point for the Versailles excursion by comfortable, air-conditioned coach.  Return to the meeting point in Paris included.
• Activities :
  • Guided tour of the Château de Versailles: Discover the King's and Queen's apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, and other splendors of the château with a professional guide.
  • Visit the gardens of Versailles: Take a guided stroll through the sumptuous gardens designed by Le Nôtre.

Day 6: Departure
